Best thing to do is go ahead and report any errors you find. If it's a duplicate your report will be marked as such. There's no public list of reported bugs as far as I know.

if you switch to an account that you do not care if it changes the icons, do that before closing WM. the icons should remain as changed for all other accounts/groups.
